Established in 1947, the Darwin Camera Club has been helping photographers develop their skills, share their work, and connect through a shared passion for capturing the world through a lens.

Royal Darwin Show Photography Competition 2026 - Darwin Camera Club   The Darwin Camera Club is proud to host its main Photography Competition and Exhibition at the Royal Darwin Show, which is celebrating its 75th year in 2026. Open to amateur photographers of all levels, the competition includes both Open and Junior sections, with a range of categories to suit different interests and styles. Entrants can submit images across 4 print classes and 4 digital classes, including portrait, landscape, wildlife, documentary, nature, creative, mobile, and aerial photography. There are great prizes on offer, including class awards, overall champions, and special category prizes—plus the chance to have your work exhibited as part of this iconic community event. Key details Open to amateur photographers, with a Junior section for under 18s Up to 4 images per class Entry deadline: Friday, 3 July 2026 Print and digital entries accepted (USB submission for digital files) Whether you’re entering for the first time or a regular exhibitor, this is a great opportunity to share your work, challenge yourself, and be part of a long-running Territory tradition.
